4th and 5th graders were grateful to hear from guest speaker Ms. Butcher today! Lots of words of wisdom, including: Stay focused! Keep God in the forefront! You can learn lessons from generations back. History can always be made, starting with you!

Please note the early dismissal for Tuesday, Feb 18.

We love our bishop! We are grateful to Bishop Anthony Taylor for celebrating Mass with us today and then spending some time with parents after Mass.

We are grateful to Little Rock author Phyllis Hodges for her visit to St. Theresa Catholic School 4th-8th graders today! She brought special guests from her books, as well. What a wonderful addition to our celebration of Black History Month!

Great win, boys! Go Cougars!

Many thanks to Faith Formation Director Karen Aragon, the entire church office staff, catechists and presenters for an amazing parish retreat day!

Do you ever wonder what the teachers do when we dismiss at 1:30 on the first Friday of the month?
We have so many things that we need to work on, but every month we make time for a teacher to share successful strategies. Today, we heard from Mrs. Sally Chua, who is a kindergarten guru! Kinesthetic learning, finger spelling, incorporation of native language - she taught us a lot today!

Last week, Miss Timmerman shared about her previous experiences working on the US Southern Border with the 8th grade class.

Therefore, do not throw away your confidence;
it will have great recompense.
You need endurance to do the will of God and receive what he has promised.
Hebrews 10:35-36
Today, our gift for Catholic Schools Week was a scapular. This is a religious item, like a necklace, that is worn to remind the wearer of his/her fidelity to the Lord and the Lord's promise of protection for us.
Father JP preached and taught us about having courage - to do things even when they are difficult. And he reminded us the Lord was with the Hebrews in difficult times, and He is also with us.
Then, he invited the 8th graders to bestow the gifts upon the students and staff.
In this way, too, we are connected to our patroness, St. Therese, whose Carmelite order wears the brown scapular.
St. Theresa, pray for us!

Way to go, Cougars! 24-20 over Abundant Life!

We had a bunch of grannies and grandpas and abuelos and abuelas today!

It's the 100th Day of School!

Family Paint Night gets 5 out of 5 stars!
Thank you, Fr. Manny!
Thank you to our parishioners and school families who came out!

On the third day of Catholic Schools Week, we focused on creativity! Crazy hair, crazy socks, crazy clothes! Or we dressed as an artist! And we are ready for Family Paint Night today at 6:30!

Today is the day! 6:30 pm! Gym!
