A special post in Thanksgiving for Catholic High School for Boys and Head of School Steve Straessle for allowing us to use their beautiful school for our event.
I saw this sign when I was walking in, and I was so excited to see in print the history of collaboration between St. Theresa Church and School and Catholic High.
The Diocese of Little Rock is a special, blessed place. Thank you, CHS!

We did it!
We had our Celebration of St. Theresa Catholic School at Catholic High School and it was GREAT!
We heard from our choir, saw a beautiful performance by our Danzantes, heard from alumna Bella and alumnus Troy, and ate some amazing food from our families and Taqueria La Culpable! And had a great silent auction!
On Saturday, September 7 we will report to the parish our final numbers on our $65,000 campaign.
As always, God is good. Jesus loves us all. God bless you all!

Happy Friday! It's been a great week! We look forward to our fundraiser at Catholic High tomorrow at 5:30 as well as a nice, long three day weekend!

We are excited to share our auction items that will be available this Saturday! Get ready to bid!

It's another really good day at St. Theresa School! ❤️

We love it when a reading from Ezekiel about dry bones matches up to a day that Fr. Stephen celebrates mass - we went on a bone hunt!
People will know we are Christians by how we love God, how we love others, and by being who God created is to be.

Miss Stehle's class is learning about family in Social Studies...and they loved sharing family photos!

A little over a week away!

Little Red Riding Hood made a stop at St. Theresa School Library today!

Last Thursday, we had our Second Annual Bring Your Parents to School Day! 50% of students had a parent representative attend, and teachers did a fabulous job helping parents understand what to expect with a child at St. Theresa Catholic School!

It has been an amazing, spectacular, grace-filled, joyful, friendly, blessed week!!!

FOX16 made a video of the news clips from Wednesday! Enjoy!
Happy Feast of the Assumption of Mary!
We had a beautiful, interactive mass...plus lots of parents!

We should have some links soon to the KARK and FOX16 news stories that Miss Dorothea did with us this morning! It was a lot of fun!

Faculty and staff concluded our professional development week with a group prayer time and a traveling blessing of all of our spaces!
It was beautiful!
Please know of our prayers for all of you, our Saint Squad!

***BREAKING NEWS***
KARK/FOX16 plans to be at our school in the morning to do a segment on back-to-school!
If you're a parent or teacher, maybe they'll want to talk to you on camera. If you're a fan of St. Theresa Catholic School, watch for us on the morning news!

We want to take the time to publicly share our thanks for St. Theresa Altar Society!
We asked them to help us make a real, cozy, awesome, amazing teachers lounge...and they went all out for us! For the last several years, the teachers' lounge has been in various spaces not much larger than a closet. This teacher's lounge - the size of a classroom - is amazing for meetings, lunches, break times, and more!
The teachers are getting to meetings early in order to get comfy seats! They love eating meals together. They are so happy!
Thank you, again, Altar Society! Please support their bake sale Aug 24-25!

Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wishes to come after me must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me. For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it." Matthew 16:24-25
What a staff we have at St. Theresa Catholic Church and School! (And this isn't everyone!)
We are grateful for this ministry at this sacred place.

We are ready to see our school families today between 2:00 and 6:00 for Open House! You will enter the school at the covered sidewalk (dropoff entrance). Parking in the front lot is a good idea. Carts will be available for parents bringing in lots of school supplies.
Everyone is invited to a prayer service in the library at 6:00 pm, followed by a time of fellowship. Please bring food to share, potluck style.

Our teachers were so excited to see Gerry Brooks this morning at our opening professional development session, provided by ANSAA.
We were reminded that school culture is our responsibility! And we laughed...a lot!
