"And Mary kept all these things, reflecting on them in her heart."
This verse, Luke 2:19, is my favorite Bible verse, and I am grateful for the opportunity to share it today, as it appears in the gospel for the Feast of Mary, Mother of God on January 1.
God is at work in all of our lives, and yet I will be the first to admit that I don't always recognize Him and what He is doing in my life. Usually, it's because I feel busy or stressed. However, in looking at the example of Mary, I am reminded that she had plenty to feel busy or stressed about, but she always, always, stayed close to God in prayer.
God is at work in and through us, here, at St. Theresa Catholic Church and School. It is a community of the best people I could ever hope to meet. Humble, hard-working, and devoted to the Lord. As we enter 2026, I am grateful for the Lord's call to work and minister here, and I pray that we all are inspired by Mary's example, reflecting on all the revelations and gifts of the Lord in our hearts.
Mary, Mother of God, pray for us!
Saint Theresa, pray for us!
Sincerely in Christ,
Kristy Dunn
Kristy Dunn

Our pastorela was just perfect, telling the story of the battle between good and evil that we all experience in our humanity. But it also reminded us of our ultimate Savior, the One we await - Jesus.
In our humble homes like His humble stable.
Trying to follow the light of our guiding star.
Thank you to everyone who could be with us today. We will let you know when we post the video to YouTube!

We have one more day of school and then we will celebrate the birth of Christ with our families!
We hope your families will join us at one of Christmas masses! Please see the schedules for Christmas as well as masses that are canceled on the 23rd and 26th.
Also, the children's live nativity will be BEFORE the 4:00 pm Christmas mass, starting at 3:45.

Our evening program, "Let's Learn Together About God," celebrated Christmas in various cultural attire and with a yummy, diverse Christmas dinner!

Hail Mary, full of grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now
and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

A silly elf visited St. Theresa today!
All the students received a small treat of pan dulce during this special week that started with the feast of the Immaculate Conception and ends with the feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe. May our Blessed Mother pray for all of us in a special way!

Today is the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, a day when we celebrate that Mary is the Mother of God, created without original sin in order to be a perfect mother for our Savior, Jesus Christ.
Father Joel preached at our all-school mass this morning, sharing a beautiful personal
