Happy Mercy Day, Mount Saint Mary Academy! Thank you for your help with Autumnfest preparations!

Thank you, LRPD Officers, for visiting PK and Kinder today for Community Helpers lessons! We love this moment, when a PK friend wanted to show the officer his blue rosary that matched her uniform. 💙

This week, Father Joel is visiting classes to talk about prayer, the Mass and Jesus. Only one student bossed him around, telling Father Joel, "Sit criss cross applesauce."
What a joy!

4th grade is learning about how the human eye works! We used magnifying glasses, notecards, and lights to model how the human eye sees through a cornea lenses and the retina.

We had a Decades Day theme this week, and we saw everything from the 1920s to the 1990s! So much fun!

And that's a seventh grade volleyball win for these ladies' first game of the season! Go Cougars!

Third grade completed an investigation called, "Is a third grader faster than a dinosaur?" It was a lot of fun, and they also discovered they would not win in a race against a dinosaur. 🦕

Fourth grade art class involved a lesson team work and problem solving - who can build the highest tower? We learned some ideas don't always work, but we learn from our practice, and we learn from each other!

It was Dress Like a Teacher Day! What a joy to see our kids dress up like teachers! One grownup decided to dress like a student, as well!

Chalk time is fun time!

You never know where you'll see Mr. Gunther! And we like it that way!
St. Theresa is the amazing community it is because of everyone pitching in and helping out. We are blessed!

These little saints-in-the-making learned about Saint Piet Giorgio Frassati today!

Second and third grades say, "Happy birthday, Mother Mary!"

First grade religion class was all about St. Carlo Acutis today! Next class will be about St. Pier Giorgio Frassati!

What a Friday!
From a beautiful Mass to Grandparents' Lunch, it was a great day!
Remember the five finger prayer of St. Mother Teresa: "You did it for me."
