'Tis the season to be thankful!
Lots of Thanksgiving-themed work going on around STS!
We are grateful!

A sampling of our Veterans Day visits! Thank you, students, for your cards for the veterans at the VA Hospital and to Mrs. Yancey for arranging delivery. We hope the students shared what they learned from Mr. Hood and Mr. Martinous.

Today, we pray for our veterans and thank them for their service. Our students heard from Mr. Martinous, who shared his own story of service, and Mr. Hood, who shared his father's story of service. Thanks to Mrs. Yancey, the veterans at the VA Hospital received cards from our students.
May God bless all veterans!

Don't forget! Today's the day!
The relics of St. Therese, our patroness, are at the parish of Christ the King. The day concludes with Mass at 5:00. We ask the St. Theresa community to wear red or white at 5:00 Mass.

Sarah McLaughlin - I mean Mrs. Yancey - has been visiting third grade as they study Sarah Plain and Tall.

It was a great day for 4th, 5th, and 6th graders at Mld-America Science Museum today!
We ❤️ field trips!

You want to know a secret about the ministry of education?
Our students don't just belong to us for a semester or a year or five years. They are our students forever, into eternity.
Today, we blessed the photo of Alexa that will be displayed on our Alumni Memorial Wall, and we blessed her family and classmates.
What a blessing to live and work within a community in which one day we will rejoice to meet each other again in Heaven! ❤️

Third grade enjoyed exploring plate tectonics by experimenting with graham crackers and icing!

This Friday, at our all-school mass, we will bless this photo of Alexa Hernandez-Espinoza and then add her photo to our Alumni Memorial Wall in the school. This is our tradition each year near the feast of All Souls, which falls on Sunday this year, and also happens to be Alexa's birthday. Lord, we pray for all of our students - past, present and future - and we pray for those who have passed on from this life. May their souls and the souls of all the faithful departed rest in peace. We especially pray for Alexa to enjoy her Heavenly home with You, and we pray for her mom, dad, brothers, extended family and friends who miss her. Amen.

Last week, our kindergarten and first graders (and many parents) had the BEST time at Motley's Pumpkin Patch!
The kids were excited to take home pumpkins, and at least one class is excited to do a pumpkin dissection later this week.
Fall Field Trips are the best!

Look whoooooooo is ready for Fall Break!

October is the month of the rosary! 📿

We have completed the first quarter of the school year!
Reminder - parent/teacher conferences this Thursday. Fall Break this Friday and next Monday.

Thanks to these lovely alumni who volunteered at STS on their day off from MSM!

Today's mass included the annual distribution of 8th grade sweatshirts and a special blessing upon our 8th graders!
Saint Jude, pray for us!
San Judas Tadeo, ruega por nosotros!
