Yet it was our pain that he bore,
our sufferings he endured.
We thought of him as stricken,
struck down by God and afflicted,
But he was pierced for our sins,
crushed for our iniquity.
He bore the punishment that makes us whole,
by his wounds we were healed.
Isaiah 53:4-5

I give you a new commandment, says the Lord:
love one another as I have loved you.
John 13:34

Third grade smelled minty-fresh after a toothpaste activity today! Like squeezing toothpaste out of a tube, saying bad or hurtful words can happen easily. Like trying to put toothpaste back into the tube, saying bad or hurtful things is very hard to do.
