We are ready to see our school families today between 2:00 and 6:00 for Open House! You will enter the school at the covered sidewalk (dropoff entrance). Parking in the front lot is a good idea. Carts will be available for parents bringing in lots of school supplies.
Everyone is invited to a prayer service in the library at 6:00 pm, followed by a time of fellowship. Please bring food to share, potluck style.

Our teachers were so excited to see Gerry Brooks this morning at our opening professional development session, provided by ANSAA.
We were reminded that school culture is our responsibility! And we laughed...a lot!

This year, the faculty of St. Theresa Catholic School will do a book study: A Saint Squad for Teachers: 45 Heavenly Friends to Carry You through the School Year by Amy Cattapan.

Second grade led a posada today! A posada is a re-enactment of Mary and Joseph's search for lodging just before the birth of Jesus. Second graders dressed to represent the Nativity and sang the traditional Spanish song of the posada. What a beautiful incorporation of our faith into learning!

Happy Tuesday from 1st grade and Jesus!
