✏️The teachers have implemented daily writing prompts as well as longer writing assignments!✏️ Third grade wrote about things God created, and fourth grade brainstormed about their summer activities before turning their brainstorms into written work.

The greatest blessing of a Catholic school is the opportunity to attend Mass as a school community, and we had our first all-school mass today! We are grateful for the blessing of our three priests: Father Stephen, Father Joel, and Father Salvador! We learned about the theme of friendship from the example of St. Maximilian Kolbe. St. Maximilian Kolbe, pray for us!

👧🏻 Did you know we're trying something different during our special area classes? 👦🏻 Students in grades 4-8 are attending Spanish, Art, PE and library split by gender, and it's working out so great! These are 7/8 grade boys in Spanish class using games as they practice their Spanish-English vocabulary.

Today was filled with team building (3rd grade), a great lunch (everyone), and Jitter Juice (1st grade) and much, much more! We had a great first day!
