We are pleased to announce an anonymous gift of $500,000 to St. Theresa Catholic School!
On Wednesday, March 19, the school held an assembly to announce the gift to students; several school parents were able to attend. This gift is the largest monetary gift to date.
St. Theresa Catholic School has caught the attention of the city of Little Rock, the state of Arkansas, and the nation. Established in 1959, the parish and school have always served the area of Southwest Little Rock. Both the parish and school are growing in attendance, with the parish being the third-largest parish in the Diocese of Little Rock and the school growing over 55% in enrollment since 2015.
The community of St. Theresa is one built on unity and trust. Families represent different countries, cultures and languages, but all are united in faith. A united leadership team, comprised of both church and school staff, share the same vision and mission. This strong community and leadership team demonstrate to others that this place is worth investing in. We are grateful to this anonymous donor for this huge blessing.
Initial steps with this money will involve a full site plan, an analysis of the campus by an architectural and engineering firm. Then, projects will be undertaken to add space in all areas of campus - school, church, parking. We believe the first project will be a renovation of Little Flower Hall which will become the St. Theresa Catholic Church and School Welcome Center, holding offices and meeting spaces - a one-stop shop for all visitors to our campus.
Projects after that will then be prioritized in phases.
Please pray for us and stay with us on this journey!
